On behalf of the HTNL Writers Guild, I would like to introduce you to an exciting industry movement--the growth and expansion of the World Wide Web as a computing profession.
The HTML Writers Guild (HWG), a worldwide organization representing the largest group of World Wide Web (WWW) authors in the industry, is dedicated to advancing the profession. The HWG advances the profession by uniting WWW authors in a worldwide association; determining member needs and interests; and delivering programs and services to meet those needs and interests through strategic alliances with corporations, vendors, education providers, government agencies, and other associations.
The HWG exists to serve the needs of the WWW community at all levels, from the person just developing a interest in creating a first "home page" to the most seasoned and respected professionals in the industry today--those who design, integrate, manage and maintain complew Websites. Professionals join the HWG to keep current with the latest technology and to interact with other professionals and peers in the industry.
Because a large percentage of our members make a living designing, integrating, managing, and maintaining Websites, they play a significant role in the purchasing cycle.

- Assist the HWG in obtaining resources and accessing the technology needed to advance the Guild's interests
