Spring Internet World '98

Guild to Attend Los Angeles Conference, March 11-13 1998

The HTML Writers Guild will be in attendance at the Spring Internet World '98 conference, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on March 11 to 13, 1998.

Confirmed Guild officers/staff attendees include:

• Joe Cline, HWG President
• Ann Navarro, HWG Treasurer
• Kynn Bartlett, HWG Board Member and Past President

A "meet the Guild" get-together is scheduled similar to the one held at last year's WWW6 conference. This will be an excellent time for local and conference-attending HWG members to meet each other and the officers, and talk face-to-face about the future and direction of the Guild.

Come and win! Macromedia has graciously donated a copy of their new Dreamweaver product for us to give away at the event. You must be present at the meeting to win!

This event will be an informal get together: an opportunity for Guild members to meet three of their Governing Board members, to ask questions about the Guild, discuss Net happenings or anything else! We will have access with projection viewing to enhance any web related discussions.

The Guild's purpose in attending is two-fold: To allow members of the Guild who may be at the conference or live in the area to meet each other in a social setting; and to introduce the Guild's goals and objectives to individuals and companies at Internet World who may not have heard of us before.

This should prove to be an interesting, positive step forward for the Guild, and may herald future HWG involvement in industry events.
