SQL Server Design and Implementation
This is designed to be a hands on class in developing with SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition. Students will design, develop, and implement a database project of their choosing. This course would help prepare the student for a number of IT positions, including
database developer, database administrator, IT consultant, and IT manager. People who want to gain an understanding how to develop and maintain SQL Server database would want to attend this class. The course contents is also covered in the some of the industry certification exams.

Week 1: Introduction to SQL Server
Week 2: Designing a SQL Server Database
Week 3: Implementing SQL Server Databases and Tables
Week 4: Accessing and Modifying Data
Week 5: Accessing and Modifying Data
Week 6: Conclusion
Prerequisites
Students should have an understanding of relational databases, and should have some experience with client databases, such as Access.
Requirements
Software and System Requirements: These are the minimum system requirements for installing SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition. An evaluation version of SQL Server is available if the student does not have access to a database server running SQL Server.
