3. Member Services

Request for Proposals -- Member Service Development

Volunteers are needed to be moderators for the Request For Proposals (RFP) system.

This service will be provided as an accessible and convenient means for HWG Plus and Institutional members to distribute Requests For Proposals. RFPs are for contractual or freelance projects only. The RFP service is not a place for posting resumes or help-wanted advertisements. (We are currently developing services to meet those needs.)

Contact Damon Zirkler for more information.

Mentor/Apprentice Program Notice

Unfortunately, we have had a problem with the database of applicants for the mentor/apprentice program and have lost many applications. If you applied prior to 15 October 1997, please re-submit your application by going to

http://www.hwg.org/services/mentor/menap.html

for mentor registration, or

http://www.hwg.org/services/mentor/apprenap.html

for apprentice registration. We apologize for this inconvenience. We should have the program completely functional by the end of the year.

You do not need to be a paying member to volunteer to be a mentor.
